This update includes the all new dialer app, which I think is very similar to the new Android L material design concept. The dialer’s default keypad gets a minimal blue and white color combination with the caller icon on the middle as it was previously , which looks very decent and simple to operate.

Enabled Motorola Alert App for Moto g
Motorola alert app, which is very useful app for the Moto users it uses your GPS location and sends alert information to your selected contacts in case of any emergency .Moto alert app was exclusive for the Moto e but now it got its hands on Moto g and Moto x too with this update. This app comes Pre - installed in this update so you have to download it form the play store.
So if you have made your mind to update here is quick guide to upgrade to the latest android version.
Note: Keep in mind that after upgrading to the latest android version it’s not possible to downgrade to the previous version.
Instructions:
If you have received the notification from Motorola for this update then you can go for this update download but make sure you have at least 50% battery and have a Wi-Fi network to accomplish the download.
- Select "Download".
- After the software is downloaded, select "Install now".
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
- Your phone is now updated with 210.12.40

2. Select "About phone".
3. Select "System updates".
4. Select "Download". After the software is downloaded, select "Install".
5. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
