Download Youtube Video Directly From Youtube App

Recently , google introduced a new feature in youtube application for mobile devices. According to this, now we can download most of the youtube videos on our device and view them via youtube app itself.

Note that , not all of the videos available on youtube are downloadable via this feature.

 To avail this feature , you just need to download/update to the latest version of youtube application from Google Play Store. Open up the application and follow the steps given below :

1. Open youtube application on your device and search for desired video. You will get following screen. Click on the download icon which can be found under the video title ( one marked with Red).

2. Now , you will get the dialog box , which asks you to select one of the available qualities . Select one and click OK.

3. After you video gets downloaded , Swipe right and select " offline " from menu as shown below.

4. An interface like below would be available and you can view and enjoy these videos without buffering.

Note that , these videos are stored in its own private format in android/data folder and cannot be viewed without youtube app, unless a workaround or a trick can be developed.
